Pilates was referred as corrective exercise by its creator Joseph Pilates. Pilates is great to support injury, the aging body, athletes, and most everyone to feel stronger, more flexible and balanced in their life and activities.
Yoga helps calm and balance the nervous system and mind as well as help with flexibility, balance and strength of the body.
I’ve been teaching pilates since 2001. I have my comprehensive pilates certification and many rehabilitative certifications.
I offer 1:1 sessions in Oakland Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
I offer a pilates based movement class on Zoom Wednesdays at 8am PST, $35 for the class. This class is a slower paced class geared to create stability, perfect for someone after an injury, surgery, or an aging body.
Rates are:
